Okte Elementary serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Located in Clifton Park, N.Y., the school imparts reading skills to its elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. Additionally, it conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. Okte Elementary also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. The school operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. It has a staff that includes a psychologist, specialist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists. Okte Elementary is a part of the Shenendehowa Central School District.
