Leo from universal driving school was great! He was a fantastic instructor- I just passed my road test!! He'll teach you tips and tricks that are very important and essential to pass the test. He was also very punctual and did not make me nervous.also, Maria, the lady that answered my phone calls and called to remind me about my practice hours, was extremely friendly and nice. I highly highly recommend this school.

I usually never bother to leave reviews, unless my experience or satisfaction with a product is lacking. However, on rare occasions you are lucky enough to experience an individual or company that takes exceptional pride and excellence in the product that they make or the service they provide. Universal driving school is a service worthy and deserving of such a ringing endorsement! After 3 two hour lessons with Ed from Universal I was ready for my road test. He is a patient and very experienced instructor that helped me master all the variables of driving, especially his method for parallel parking. Furthermore, Universal takes you to the road test in the same car that you took your lessons. Trust me, if you are looking for a patient, thorough and exceptional instruction to pass your road test, Universal and Ed can't be beat!

This is by far the best driving school in Jersey City. Both Maria & Eddie are good instructors & are very committed. They love what they do & it shines through. They are professional, courteous, punctual & knowledgable. I learnt driving from Eddie & my wife from Maria. They not only teach you the right way but quickly identify the errors that you are making & explain the reasons for it. Would be very happy to recommend them to anybody who wants to learn driving the right way.

Maria at Universal Driving school is a wonderful instructor. She explains and teaches you everything you need to know about the road test. She took me to the NJ road test and I passed the first time. Their rates are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Universal Driving School.
