Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential is a nonprofit agency that caters to the needs of people with disabilities in more than five counties in northeastern Ohio. Also known as LEAP, the agency promotes self-determination and offers peer support and advocacy services. It employs over 40 staff members. Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential operates The Assistive Technology Center, which holds classes and workshops, as well as performs individualized assessments. The agency provides disability determination assistance for people who are above the age of 55. In addition, it offers vocational rehabilitation solutions. Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential administers a youth transition program that focuses on the improvement of interpersonal skills.
