The Horizon Science Academy Denison is a nonprofit, college preparatory middle school that offers learning opportunities to various students. It is operated by a board of trustees under a charter granted by Lucas County Community Schools. The school serves more than 100 students in grades five through seven. The Horizon Science Academy Denison s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. It organizes class meetings, assemblies, workshops and community open houses. The school also conducts several extracurricular activities and school competitions.
