The staff at the Harvard Wine & Grill are great! The entertainment is a definite positive especially for the price. As far as the neighborhood goes. I didnt see the New Jack City as one had mentioned. There is security at the door that will not allow activity in front of the building. Take a leap & go somewhere new. Great happy hour specials!

This use to be the Mix and the owner has did great with remodeling the bar. The bands are great. Huge wine selection. Best place in town to get great food and live music. They sell " Turkey Ribs", which are mouth watering. This place has done a complete 360 for the better in there location. I'm glad I gave the new spot a chance and didn't listen to the pessimistic critics.

I remember this hole in the wall bar called the mix.same owner.fights and shootings everyweek.its been years since I have been.so I heard it was remodeled.you can remodel the bar but you can't remodel the dangerous drug infested neighborhood.me and my wife went on jazz night.we had to park on the street.before we got to the door crackheads were in front begging and trying to sell stolen merchandise.there is only 5 tables in the bar. It is very little to have a band.we had to sit at the bar and the band is 5ft away.way to loud.food was okay. Not horrible but not excellent. It was okay.the band was to close. This place is small.we left cause it was to cluttery and uncomfortable.you will blow your ear drums if you sit for to long.not to mention we had to walk back to our car where drug dealers and thugs lurk the night.not a safe environment.
