Some of the engineering services that it provides are structural consultation, engineering and feasibility studies, detailed design, drawings and specifications. The company also consults with architects, owners, governmental agencies, engineers and contractors on problems of construction and design requiring structural engineering. It serves design and construction professionals, medical and educational institutions, government agencies and developers. Some of its projects include Great Lakes Science Center, Cleveland Convention Center, the Cleveland Federal Office Building, Erieview Plaza, Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus, Cleveland State University Library Tower, Severance Hall and the old Main Post Office in Cleveland. Barber & Hoffman has also designed projects in Brazil, Korea and Senegal, Africa.
