Thinking of shopping at Danny Vegh's? Think Twice!! I purchased a pool table, including delivery, set up and an accessory package on March 2nd. The Great Escape was having a sale on Brunswick Pool Tables. Danny Vegh's pricing for the same pool table package was significantly higher - but they were willing to price match The Great Escape. As Danny Vegh's was much closer to my home (and saved me $100 in delivery) I figured their customer service would be better - boy was I wrong!!

The Mayfield store manager, Andrea, was all too quick to follow up with me until I came in and made my purchase. That was the end of any follow up she initiated. I had to follow-up to schedule the delivery & installation of my new pool table - which was delivered 2-1/2 weeks later, minus the pool cues. With what turned out to be an unreasonable amount of follow-up and frustration, it took 2-1/2 months to deliver six pool cues. The only time their customer service people bothered to follow up on my order was after I initiated inquiries as to where on earth my order was. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised though - after a 1-1/2 months of frustration, two phone calls to Kathy Vegh - the company's owner, went un-responded to.

Danny Vegh's was all too quick to place responsibility for my poor experience on the vendor they purchase pool cues from. I would suggest they look for alternative vendors for pool cues (unless of course, there's only one!). For my experience, customer satisfaction and retention appear to be low on Danny Vegh's priority list. I would have been better of driving to The Great Escape in Boardman, OH to make my purchase. If you have alternative options for your purchase, I would suggest you consider them!!
