Women's Diagnostic Center has provided mammography services since 1986 and employs mammography registered female technicians. We're accredited by the American College of Radiology and the Food and Drug Administration. We ensure that all services not only meet, but exceed guidelines established by the Mammography Quality Standards Act All 6 of our mammography technologists have obtained registry with their professional organization. Although the MQSA standards require interpretation of 480 mammograms annually, our radiologist reads and interprets between 9,000 and 10,000 Convenient appointments are available in the early morning, late afternoon and Saturday mornings. Our IN OFFICE SERVICES include screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, & breast ultrasounds. You can access our services on referral from your healthcare provider or you can come to our facility when it is time for your annual mammogram. Also offered in office is DEXA Bone Density Testing is the most accurate method available to diagnose osteoporosis. Early detection is the key to prevention of further bone loss and eventual fractures. We perform a number of ultrasound exams: Breast, pelvic, both obstetric and gynecologic, abdominal (gallbladder, pancreas, liver, kidneys, spleen), testes, venous (not arterial), thyroid, carotids, soft tissues. We don't offer echocardiograms of the heart Patients are referred to us by their healthcare providers. You must present a valid doctor s order to have the x-ray performed. This is a state law. Most x-rays do not require an appointment and do not require any pre-exam preparations Our MOBILE SERVICES include both mobile mammography & mobi le bone density .WDC provides digital portable mammography services INSIDE your facility.
