There's nothing like being new to an area and having a pet emergency after hours. I am so thankful to Dr. Rob Milligan for taking our call this weekend and guiding us on what to do with our son's dog. Thanks to his caring and expertise (even though it was not a large animal problem), our son's dog is well and back in Birmingham receiving care from her regular vet. He coached us through the emergency, advised us on next steps, and even called back when he thought there may have been potential for misunderstanding the instructions. If I still had our little hobby farm and was looking for large animal care, he'd be my new vet. Many thanks, Dr. Milligan!

We thank Dr. Pam Milligan from the bottom of our hearts for the care she gave our beautiful llama, RikkI Tikki last Saturday. Unfortunately due to her heart condition, Rikki Tikki had to be euthanized. Dr. Pam very compationately advised us and helped us make the difficult decision. Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam are excellent equine veterinarians. Not only are they compassionate and caring, but they have been around horses all their lives and it shows. Their combined medical knowledge and horse sense truly makes them the best. Their prices are very reasonable and they take the time to find the best treatment for our horses. We really love them.

Both Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam are terrific. They are kind, compassionate, and truly in the business because they care about the welfare of animals. I've never had anything but great experiences with them both. They really go the extra mile.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam have been our equine veterinarians for a few years. Not only do they treat our horses, but they take the time to educate us in horse health and horse care. They also do research on diseases that affect our animals, such as insulin resistance and grey horse melanoma, and do not hesitate to reach out to the veterinary community if they have questions.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam are literally life savers. Another Vet had given up on my sick horse and said my only choice was UGA or put her down. I couldn't afford UGA, so I called Dr. Milligan. He was realistic and honest about the seriousness of the problem, but was willing to work to save her if we were. Both doctors took care of my horse as if she was their own. They went above and beyond of duty, and they really cared about her and about us. Together we pulled her through. It was not easy, and would not have happened without the Milligans. They will be my only choice for a Vet from now on..

I LOVE Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam. It is obvious they love animals. We had to have our dog put to sleep and Dr. Rob came to our house and put our sweet dog to sleep in her living room. We were all crying and Dr. Rob keep saying how sorry he was to have to do this. To the guy who was mad because his horse died before Dr. Rob returned his call I say this, if your horse was that close to death, he had to have been sick for awhile. We are extremely happy with the work of Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam Milligan! They helped us with our mini mare when she had a life-threatening emergency. They were quick to respond, very professional, honest, and successfully brought our mini back to health when her chances were not good at all. They demonstrate genuine care for the well-being of our animals. Their follow-up care is excellent, as well. They also share their knowledge willingly and generously.

Both Dr. Rob and Dr. Pam Milligan treat all of our animals large and small. They have always returned our calls with prompt timing. Anytime we have had an emergency they have come to our farm in a timely matter. They are very accurate and we appreciate everything they do for our animals. Thank you both very much!

I will never use this vet again. We called him several times to have one of our horses put to sleep because he was suffering and loosing weight...never called us back. The horses ended up dying on his own..Thanks for the help!!
