Good stuff - Bad staff! We arrived with a trailer at 4:30 pm, needing to furnish a vacation home quickly. Wanted to buy a coffee table that they've had on the floor for 60 days - it was due to reduce to the final price in less than 8 hours. But they wouldn't give us the next discount price, wouldn't deal, wouldn't call the consignor to see if they'd be willing to sell it for the "in-less-than-8-hours price" and told us they weren't interested in selling it to us today anyway because the staff that actually lift/carry goods had left for the day. In short, the consignor lost the sale because the staff wasn't willing to work with us to make the sale. And their attitude was unfriendly & unhelpful. If you're shopping, there are better stores in the area - Dwell in Tampa, Deja Vue in St Petersburg, Iverson's in Sarasota. If you're a consignor, you probably want to work with a store with staff that are more customer-friendly and will sell your stuff when they have a cash buyer!

Seller beware.! They make all sorts of accommodation to take your things but if it does not sell you get five(5) days to come get it or they donate it. Unfortunately it's their contract but once they realize they can't make any money off you...you are treated like scum. Very rude employees. I'm just saying it like it is !

I LOVE this store!!! After we bought a vacation/someday retirement home in Clearwater, FL our wallets were a little slim, but we needed to find a few pieces of quality furniture to get us started in furnishing it. I found the Clearwater store "The Missing Piece" online and loved the furniture I saw. They only accept quality furnishings on consignment...no yard sale "junk" here!!! I furnished my living room, plus got a set of gorgeous barstools for my breakfast bar. The leather Lane sectional sofa I got was in perfect condition and it was 66% less than if I had purchased it new!!! I can't wait to furnish our whole house, over time from "The Missing Piece" I feel like I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!!
