Amazing clinic and Dr. Freeman is the best Vet I have ever had. The staff are always helpful, polite and make us feel welcome. Dr. Freeman not only provided options for items their clinic sold but additional over the counter options. These folks are wonderful. During a recent experience of having to release one of our animals, Dr. Freeman came to the house and as a result our entire family was able to process our loss with less heart ache. I can't provide information positive information about this clinic and staff. Thank You. Sunset Point Animal Hospital

First went to SPAH for convenience of location. Stayed because of Dr Conrad. Wonderful with the animals, very personable with the humans. Sadly Dr Conrad is phasing himself out of the practice and now that Dr Freeman joined the practice, I cannot see myself going back. He talks very quickly and way over your head. He tries to answer your questions, but again, very hard to follow. Not much of a bedside manner. Seems I paid twice for everything while I was there, as did another person I know. He had two of my pets with one paw in the grave and after getting second opinions at another vet, I found this wasn't the case. Staff is nice. Place is clean. Dr Freeman tries, but that's not good enough for my pets.

The Doctors and staff there are great! Always very attentive to the pets needs. The place is spotless and prices are reasonable. I drive past about 10 other vet practices to get there.

Dr. Conrad and his staff are wonderful and caring. We have used them for over 15 years. The first time I brought my scared little dachshund to him, the door opened and Dr. Conrad came in and got down on all fours and crawled over to Tucker - she immediately started wagging her tail and came out of the corner - she trusted him right away. From that moment on I was hooked. Over the years he has helped me thru many emergencies with my cats and dogs. Every time he has explained each step to me and given me many different alternatives. He has also held my hand thru some difficult decisions. I trust him and wouldn't take my animals anyplace else.

The best care I've received EVER, so attentive to my dog's needs. You can really tell the staff and doctors have a genuine love for the well being of all animals. The facility is amazing, and the location is convenient as well!

Welcome to Sunset Point Animal Hospital where we treat your pets like they are our own. As your other family doctor, we know that your pet is an important family member. We focus on: Educating clients at every appointment Handling pets with gentle and loving care Respecting and valuing our clients Dr. Tom Tallon opened Sunset Point Animal Hosptial in 1976 in its current location. In 1992, Dr. Richard Brutus purchased the practice and immediately hired Dr. Kevin Conrad as an associate. The two doctors chartered the first spay and neuter program for the Humane Society of North Pinellas. Soon after Dr. Conrad began working with Dr. Brutus, their working relationship flourished and Dr. Conrad became a partner in the practice. In 1997, Dr. Conrad became the sole proprietor. Satisfied clients and pets allowed Dr. Conrad to expand the clinic in 2008 from a two exam room hospital to a five exam room hospital. In 2011, Dr. Chris Freeman moved from Ohio to purchase the hospital and work with Dr. Conrad during his "partirement". Dr. Freeman and Dr. Conrad continue to gain knowledge and expertise in their field to provide their clients with the best information and service.
