- BotoxJuvederm is the one of the latest dermal fillers introduced to the U.S. market by Allergan, the company which manufactures Botox. It is a hyaluronic acid based filler similar to Restylane. However, JUVÉDERM™ injectable gel employs its unique manufacturing process to provide the highest concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of any currently available hyaluronic acid dermal filler for long-lasting results. This advanced manufacturing process also creates a smooth consistency gel that flows consistently and easily into the skin and provides a smooth, natural look and feel.
- Brow LiftIn the traditional brow lift, an incision is generally made across the top of the head from the front of one ear to the front of the other ear. The forehead and brows are elevated and excess skin is removed. The flap is then sutured. The temporal brow lift allows for a much smaller incision, which requires very little recovery time and excellent results. Direct brow lifting is helpful for middle age to older patients, particularly male patient's. The endoscopic brow lift, transblepharoplasty lift and brow pexy procedures require very small incisions. However, results are not as dramatic and they are used most often in younger patient's with the need of only small correction. However, the small incisions in the scalp accelerate the healing process.
- Eyelid SurgeryStandard facelift ). A facelift is frequently performed in conjunction with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), forehead lift, chin augmentation, and/or liposuction, to create an overall rejuvenation of the face. The procedure can be repeated as gravity continues its effects after the first surgery.
- LiposuctionThe neck lift procedure involves neck liposuction through very small incisions hidden under the chin and behind the earlobes to remove troublesome fat pockets. The loose underlying muscles of the neck are sutured in a corsett type fashion to tighten the neck support. Finally, the entire neck is suspended to reestablish youthful neck lines.
- RhinoplastyDr. Milne performs rhinoplasty in order to reshape the nose. Appearance can be improved for those people who are dissatisfied with the shape and size of the nose. Nasal reconstruction was one of the first cosmetic procedures ever developed and is among those most frequently performed today. Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure in which deformities of the nose are corrected by removing, rearranging or reshaping bone or cartilage.
- Plastic SurgeryWhen reviewing information about specific plastic surgery procedures, it is important to understand that the circumstances and experience of every individual are unique. If you are considering plastic surgery, please ask your plastic surgeon for further information about the particular procedure and what you can expect.
- Face LiftThis patient with heavy neck skin was looking for improvement of sagging skin of the face and neck without looking "operated ". The S-Lift Facelift is often the perfect choice for men. Noone needs to know !
- Neck LiftBecause every patient is unique, we plan each facelift procedure to address the concerns and deficiencies of each individual patient. When excessive neck banding (the classic "turkey gobbler" deformity) exists, a neck lift ( anterior platysmaplasty) can be simultaneously performed to improve neck contour. Although used sparingly, when true cheek hollowing or chin deficiency exists, cheek or chin implants may be recommended. These implants can be placed separately or at the time of surgery.
- BlepharoplastyBlepharoplasty, is designed to restore a more youthful appearance to your eyes. It may involve the upper lids, the lower lids, or both.
- Nose Surgery
- Otoplasty
- Lip AugmentationFor many who undergo lip augmentation, atrophy or loss of hyaluronic acid in the lip is the primary reason for treatment. Dr. Smith often uses Restylane or Juvederm, as pure forms of hyaluronic acids. Collagen, Botox and sometimes even the patient's own fat will often be used in the restoration of structure and volume to the lower face and lips. Anytime one performs injections there can be a small amount of discomfort. Dr. Smith almost always performs regional anesthesia similar to a dentist. This takes only a few seconds and makes the procedure almost entirely painless.
- Laser ResurfacingWrinkling will recur later in life, however it is unlikely that the “bags” will recur because the fat has been removed. Deeper wrinkles around the outer eye extended onto the temple are not greatly affected by the eyelid lift. These areas may be treated with laser resurfacing.

- Chin AugmentationChin augmentation using surgical implants, or surgical correction of an underdeveloped jaw ( genioplasty ) can alter the underlying structure of the face, providing better balance to the face. By adding support to the jaw line and chin region, chin augmentation can improve chin and jaw definition, enhance neck contours, and even improve marionette lines (between the corners of the mouth and chin).
- Forehead LiftDr. Milne performs Brow and Forehead Lifts to raise eyebrows and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, thus creating a smoother, more youthful appearance. This procedure can be performed in conjunction with other surgeries. Forehead and brow lifts can be further divided into a full (traditional) forehead lift, temporal or limited incision brow lift, endoscopic brow lift, direct brow lift and transblepharoplasty brow lift. Dr. Milne can discuss the pros of cons of each and come to a mutual decision about which one is right for you.
- Skin CancerSkin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than 500,000 new cases are reported each year—and the incidence is rising faster than any other type of cancer. While skin cancers can be found on any part of the body, about 80 percent appear on the face, head, or neck, where they can be disfiguring as well as dangerous.
- LesionsRemoval of skin cancers does not have to result in unsightly obvious scars. At our practice, we understand how important your appearance is to you. That is why we have developed a cutting edge protocol to diagnose, remove and subsequently restore the tissue to its most natural appearance possible. Most non-pigmented (colorless) skin lesions are first diagnosed by taking a thin scraping, called a shave biopsy to determine the exact nature of the lesion. The shave biopsy typically leaves no scar, and if the biopsy is benign may be the only treatment needed.

- Sports MedicineThere are a number of possible causes of facial trauma such as motor vehicle accidents, accidental falls, sports injuries, interpersonal violence, and work-related injuries. Types of facial injuries can range from injuries of teeth to extremely severe injuries of the skin and bones of the face. Typically, facial injuries are classified as either soft tissue injuries (skin and gums), bone injuries (fractures), or injuries to special regions (such as the eyes, facial nerves or the salivary glands).
