We were told we could not eat inside with service animals. This was unacceptable to be told we were not able to eat here.

We really enjoy eating here. The mofongos are ok. I only say ok because they use bacon in the mofongos and not pork. However, the red beans and the chuleta can can are awesome. I also enjoy the flan de queso. The drinks are very good. I have ordered a mojito and a sangria and both were good. The restaurant can get busy so we have gone in the early evening. The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. It's worth the drive from Tampa.

Finally my husband and I are so please to have found a true Puerto Rican restaurant the food is amazing the taste brings me back to my roots, the OWNER the Leo and his staff gives you excellent service. Next you are in Clearwater stop by abs get a true Puerto Rican experience.

Disappointing. I went w my family on a Sunday afternoon and very disappointed with our service and manager on duty. I will say that half of my family's orders were placed correctly and the food was delicious. For my order, I asked the server what the other table ordered as their plate looked great. Server did not know the plate name so she went and had to ask the other servers. When my plate came out it was incorrect and when I wanted to re order my plate I was told persistently that I ordered that particular plate and that I would have to pay for it. Asked for manager and also told that it's not fair for restaurant to eat cost of my error. Very jarring to be told that I would have to pay for something I did not want to eat. In the end the manager ok'ed to remove the incorrect plate from my check. I ordered another generic plate as I really was hungry after almost an hour of waiting for food. My second order plate came out and it was also wrong.

By then I wanted to just pay and leave.

Overall my family's other plates were great but my order was just errors upon errors. And most disappointing is there were no apologies from server or manager. Instead I was given arguments over an incorrectly placed order by a server who was not familiar w menu.

Cannot recommend restaurant.
