They were very courteous and professional when I called the afternoon on a Friday before a holiday. I Needed a head for my 4.0 jeep and I had it early the following week, Florida to Connecticut ! Been installed now for some time, Installation went as planned and it's back to running smooth as silk. They even supplied a return shipping label for the core. I would recommend them to anyone. Called on Monday morning and was told it would take one day to prepare a head for me. It's now Thursday and I still have no head. I called and was told to take a hike!!

I ordered a remanufactured head and timing kit. First, the tensioner was faulty and bent all the valves at the hit of the key. My tech had me inspect all timing marks before closing up the engine and all was correct. The tensioner was preprimed with oil and the oil pumped up before plugging in the coils. Got another head from them and 2nd time the vehicle didn't make it out of the shop and the balance sprockets came apart and destroyed all the timing components. I asked for a refund for only the timing parts... The "President" responded with "you win some and you loose some in life it happens every day." When we followed up he responded with "have a good day and get on with it." This is the kind of customer care "Odessa Cylinder Head / Clearwater Cylinder Head deals out with no warranty or standing behind their product. Though people should know.

They were very fast (same day) with building the head I needed for my 2001 Rodeo, as well as removing the thermostat housing for me from the old head and swapping out studs from the old head to the new one. The head I got from them worked flawlessly and was a very fair price. I couldn't be more satisfied with them and I would most certainly do business with them again.

I bought a head from this company and when it got installed it had a bad valve seat. They wanted me to send it back to them to let them determine if it was me that bent the valve or if they did something. I had a different shop look at it and determined it was a bad valve seat. They would not compensate me at all. They wanted the head to tell me I did something wrong on installation. I would not recommend this place at all. Poor customer service.

I needed a rare cylinder head for an old Honda but they did not have one. They offered for me to send them my head to rebuild. It came back very quickly and looked as good as new. The salesman was very friendly and helpful. I thought the price was very reasonable.

I have never dealt with a business and business owner more unprofessional. My son ordered a cylinder head. As it turned out he did not need it. He ships it back and they are extremely slow at refunding his account and when they finally do they add on extra freight charges. I understand core charges and re-stocking charges but the return freight should be covered in those. I may have overlooked but both the owner and his assistant were EXTREMELY RUDE. The owner yelled "We're not covering the freight" and hung up on me. BAD BUSINESS all the way around. There are much more customer service oriented businesses that have quality parts.

Great job, never an issue for quality. Not the fastest, but thorough.
