The company to deal with is Accurate Telecom here in Pinellas County! They jumped when we told them that our phone system was down. Within minutes of taking the call, and after asking some simple questions, the owner, Chris, said that he would dispatch technicians to our site to determine what was wrong and to get our system back up and running as quickly as possible. They did just that! They were here within two hours, and gave us the options to fix the issues we had, surge related problems of some type that apparently "killed" our line cards (I have no idea what a line card is); but, they were able to get us back to work within an hour or so and all at a fairly reasonable price. They also strongly suggested that we have them install high-quality surge suppression at this time. We had opted against that during the original install to keep the price down, except for a backup battery, which apparently doesn't do much during surges on phone lines, because it only "protects" the power.
