Horrible experience and I dont even have my car back yet. They were suppose to rebuild my transmission and broke other things, they had my car for 2 months and finally had to hand it over to Ford to fix and CLEAN because the inside was filthy from grease. Its still broken and everyone is shrugging on who should fix it. It has problems it never had before. My husband has called them countless times for the 2 months constantly being told that the person working on my car was not there or that there was another problem and of course would never get a call back. They messed with the odometer on our car and tried to return it with an additional 20 THOUSAND miles, and offered to put a sticker on it saying it was inaccurate! Im so serious! I see they have some great reviews but our experience has been horrid. They also have not provided a rental car. I have never heard of anything like this!Update: my husband was told today by Aamco that they wont fix or pay to fix anything else they damaged. They also tried to act like they did us a favor by not charging us for replacing parts THEY broke while rebuilding the transmission. Theres no question that the problems started in their care. The day before we brought it to Aamco we had it at Ford who have records of any issues with the car. Our mistake was taking it to Aamco because of a recommendation.Update: I see the owner replied to my google review. I want to say that a few weeks before I posted this review I read the reviews on google and saw that the owner replied to other unhappy customers and left and email so I emailed him at that address. I received no reply and figured the email wasnt current but now I see that it is and my email was ignored despite reaching out directly. Also, after not receiving a reply and being told by Mark at AAMCO that they will not fix our car and that we are expecting too much ( for them to fix what they damaged), my husband asked for the owners contact information. Mark refused to give my husband the owners information and told him that the owner doesnt talk to people. We have since contacted corporate and will move forward from here. Its unfortunate that we have to waste our time and simply cannot accept the car in this condition nor take a loss on it.

I always call aamco first, no matter how big or small my care problems. They have a great staff and always find a way to meet my needs. I have sent all my family to Aamco in Clearwater, Fl Great work in a little amount of time!!

Bill was awesome and the receptionist was sweet as my Aunt. Honest and will not try to work you over highly recommended. Soo glad that I discovered this location/ the fine folks that make this Aamco one of the best autoshops around!

I have 2003 Chevy Express 3500 work van,I had my transmission rebuild a year and a half ago and was give me a little problem I took it back after the warranty expired they was very nice they looked at it n fixed for free,the managers David n Bill stood by they work n made me very happy ,in last 12 years I took 2 other different cars n they did a really good job n fixed my water pump as well,good company I recommended to anyone who likes good n reliable work

This place is under new management and service is better than ever.Dave explains every thing going to be done or needed in great detail. He is very friendly and cares that you have a good experience. Work on my car was done in a timely manner and I was very pleased.

aamco is the best place to get your car serviced or repaired ,They are knowledgeable,very understanding and will to help in any situation especially mike and bill.They will get you back in your car fast,with reasonable prices i always take my car to Aamco

Absolutly amazing... The manager Bill Goodwin is one of the most honest people I have met in the automotive industry. And may I add, I own a automotive shop and dealership in Cleveland, Ohio. He has looked over two of my vehicles and has been more honest than what I'm normally use to. I can't thank Bill anymore than to let other people know what type of character he carries. I was having a transmission fluid leak problem since I had my fluid changed by a local shop. I called Aamco and they asked me to bring my car in and they would evaluate it. They took my car right in and showed me where some seals may be leaking but it appeared to be mostly the pan gasket. They replaced the pan gasket and suggested I monitor any leaking to determine if more repairs would be needed. They didn't charge me and wouldn't accept any money for the work they did as they could not be sure if more work would be needed. This was the best service that I could have received. I would highly recommend everyone to take their business here. F.V.
