We recently took our dog and cat to "A Pet's Place". Dr. Cowden was gentle, patient, very likeable and highly competent. He answered all of our questions and personally called the next day to let us know the results of the lab tests. The staff is wonderful and were very gracious when we had to reschedule an earlier appointment. We are very pleased and impressed with Dr. Cowden and his staff. We will definitely return and our family highly recommends Dr. Dan Cowden and "A Pet's Place." Puppy & G.G.'s Parents.
I've been going to A PETS PLACE of Clearwater since 2006 when my dog Molly was being taken care of by the staff. They were always professional and caring of my Molly and was there for us when we had to put her down. That was a sad chapter in our lives and the staff was very tender and loving with her and us. Now, we have a Boxer named Honey who's a handful and the staff are just as caring with her. We have boarded Honey with A Pets Place when we have gone on vacations. We always feel like we've left Honey in the best hands and never worry about how she's doing. I will always bring my pets there for care and health checks. The prices are reasonable too. The only vet that hasn't freaked my "girl" out. We will always call A Pet's Place. I highly recommend them. Everyone there really cares about their patients rather than money. :-)
I brought my dog Misty to see Dr. Cowden for the first time yesterday and I must share that I was exceptionally pleased with the attention from both the front desk staff and Dr Cowden that Misty received. It was evident that they were truly animal lovers and I found Dr. Cowden to be thorough in his examination and he took the time to answer all my questions. Having tried several other vets in the area, I now feel that Misty has found a home and we will be coming back !!

The staff was friendly and caring. The doctor was great - knowledgable and he didn't speak down to me. He saw my ailing pet immediately and did life-saving surgery on her. I felt the price for this emergency care was very reasonable! I will be going back when needed again/

From bringing your new *family member* in for that first important exam, Dr. Dan will be there for all your pets needs through the years.....even if it comes to needing a compassionate doctor to lay your loving pet to his or her final rest. Dr. Dan is the doctor I trust to care for all my companion's health care and needs!
