I will first say that the owner of this resort was extremely friendly. She was willing to put us in a bigger rental due to problems with the stove, but literally 2 hours away I get a phone call saying that we would have to stay in the rental with the GAS LEAK!!! That should have been my first sign to not stay there... Was really looking forward to a nice relaxing stay on beautiful clearlake. What we got instead was closer to a camping trip. The rentals do have kitchens available to prepare food but be prepared to bring everything with you, even the basic necesities like paper towels and hand soap. Maybe the time we chose to go was a little early in the season but what they called a 'heater' was a 2 foot tall electrical heater that only made any difference if you sat directly on it. I had to turn the oven on (leaking gas) and leave the oven door open just to keep warm. Definitely not worth the money. Some much better locations right down the street....
