I am surprised at these reviews, our family has been going to this restaurant for @ 6 years at least once or twice a month, if not more. Never had a bad meal, servers always pleasant and I find the prices average. Just tried their new taste of Italy on Thursday- we loved it. It was $11 for all you can eat pasta and pizza. We had salad and dessert too. We will definitely be back on Thursday nights!

The pizza is ok, not great. The last few times we got takeout the pizza was way overcooked and the calzone was just alright. It's a shame because the quality used to be much better. While it is New York style food, Venero's wouldn't stand a chance if it was in NY instead of NC.

I just came back from Venero's for the last time. I've given it too many chances. As a New Yorker, I find the food completely substandard and certainly not up to the quality of New York's excellent cuisine. The pizza was greasy with hard and dry crust. And the garlic knots were dry as a bone. There either is no pride in the food, or the employees are simply patronizing the local clientele who has not experienced how wonderful pizza in NY actually tastes. Given its high prices, this place is not worth visiting even once.

My wife & I love dining at Venero's - it's one of the best places to get pizza in the Triangle. The food is always great and the service is top-notch whenever we go. My only con is with the acoustics of the building - if there's a lot of folks dining, you'll notice that it's quite loud - maybe the owners should look into some noise-damping wall treatments. Aside from that, I highly recommend Venero's...I got hungry just writing the review!

Venero's has great pizza and chicken marsala. They also have an open dining area with a couple of large screen tvs to keep up with the sporting events. They even have a decent patio area in back for outdoor dining in the summer.

We love this restaurant! Great pizza, and many great entrees as well. My personal favorite is the chicken marsala. Garlic knots are awesome. The main dining area is very open and rather noisy, which is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. Their website is www.venerospizza.com.

Pizza better than Pizza Hut but nothing to write home about.

Never disappointed with Venero's! I go there often and the food is always hot, tasty and fast! The service is friendly and thorough as well! Never a complaint!

I would highly recommend this place. I have eaten there once about three years ago. I still remember how yummy the garlic knots were. The waitress spilled drink on me and my oldest daughter. She apologized by allowing us to have free lunches.

Great place, could have better parking!

We went here to celebrate a birthday and this place has absolutely great service. Our waitress went well above and beyond any expectations to help us with the arrangements. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced and although we attended on a busy Saturday night our seating was cozy and private. The atmosphere is great for anyone of any age.

This is a great family restaurant serving delicious NY Italian food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is fantastic!

There's no way a healthy person should eat the whole serving of their Ravioli in one sitting, but I do every time. Great food. Great service. Don't forget the cheesecake or canoli for dessert.

My whole family LOVES Venero's. Great food and great owners. I have tried many dishes and I have never been disappointed.

My family and I love this place. As of the middle of 2003, the name has changed to Venero's and the place has been made larger to accomodate all the patrons. We go there sometimes once a week or more. The taste is that of true Long Island, NY pizza. I have not had anything onn the menu that was poor. We really love the garlic knots. They are buttery and full of garlic. (This is how they are supposed to be, unlike the guy in the other post said.) I especially love the chicken parmagiana. I highly recommend it!
