I brought my daughter in for a rash on her belly. The doctor I saw said it may be strep, or it may be Scarlett fever, but I am not going to test her. I will just prescribe her antibiotics. Six days later her rash got significantly worse, so we took her off the meds and gave her a bit of Benedryl in case of an allergic reaction to the meds. The next day within hours it had gotten about five times worse. When asked if we were going to be charged again due to the fact that they did nothing to try and diagnose her the first time, their answer was yes. I think that not even trying to test or figure out what is wrong with a toddler and just prescribing medicine is not a good practice. I feel like they just wanted me to come back and pay more, so that they could not do anything again. I am now taking her to another doctor after waiting for over two hours. Poor practice as I see it. Take your ones that you love elsewhere. They don't care enough to figure out or test you. This has happened before too, but it was to me and not my child. When it is my kid, it is a whole other ballgame.

FastMed Urgent Care of Clayton North Carolina does not care about it's patients phone calls to the billing department. I have called several times and requested that I be called back. I needed to give my daughter's Flex card number. With the difficulty I had in reaching anyone on the phone, I decided to leave the flex number on their voice mail and I asked that I be called back. I was not. I thought it would be taken care of so when bills came shortly thereafter I thought they were already resolved. The next bill was from a lawyer. I again began my attempts at getting a human. I spoke with an employee and asked that she let me speak with a supervisor. She forwarded me to a supervisors voicemail. I asked that she call me back and the supervisor did not call back either!! Igave the lawyers the flex card number and they said this happens with this practice regulary and that I should call the Fastmed to fight paying the late fee. Today I'm making my last attempt at calling and I"ve asked for the owner of the practice. Because I doubt he or she will return my call , I am writing this review to let you beware. I really wonder how many hundreds of dollars FASTMED gets from it's clients in late fees that simply get exhausted with their lack of customer service.

I had a terrible cold and needed to get back to work and the staff at Clayton Urgent Care and Family Clinic was fast, caring, and to be honest the cost wasn't that bad. Thumbs Up!
