Was a walk-in for a basic pedicure. I was seen very quickly and satisfied with the service. The shop was very clean and nicely decorated.

I have been getting my nails done with shellac for over a year. I have never had my shellac last less than three weeks until I visited venus when I pay fiffy dollars for a shellac manicure I expect it to last more than four days. If I wanted that I would have gotten regular polish for what eight dollars, I am not happy and I would not refer any persons to this salon.

Just moved here and have tried at least 4 other salons! Despites some of these negative reviews, I decided to try it for myself. First of all Venus Nails has voted 3 years Best of Clarksville. They must have done something right in the first place and that's y the people has voted! I have to say the price is a little higher than other local nail salons around, but I've never got a Shellac Manicure and a pedicure the way that Pam has done! She took time not a 15 mins Pedi / Mani! The staff seems to do the same. If anyone has been any other local salons then you will see why Venus is the Best of the Best!!! Thank you Pam! :)))))

Went in for a shellac nail service. While there, the person doing my nails drops a bottle of white shellac polish on the floor & it breaks. White paint got all over my red leather Coach purse. Two female employees immediately tried to get paint off of my purse but ended up smearing the paint across the leather. After cleaning the floor, the person doing my nails continued my service while I watched as the ladies tried to clean my purse. When finished with my nails, the man who dropped polish & did my nails went to check me out & told me it was $30 (full price). I'm not one to get loud or angry, but I was very upset that my $300 Coach purse had been ruined with polish. I showed him the purse & said "this is not ok, my purse is ruined" he just said that he had said sorry & that it was an accident. I asked to speak to mgr & he said he was the mgr. I asked him what can we do to fix the situation & he said he'd take $5 off & that I should look into having my purse professionally cleaned. I was in tears when I left and will never go near this place again.

I visited this location because my normal salon was closed. I will never visit again. I asked for a shellac manicure and they are overpriced compared to better salons. The technician doing my nails didn't speak to me, and didn't seem to understand OUCH! She applied the base coat without thoroughly cleaning my nail which caused bumps. She also failed to get the polish into every bit of the nail resulting in "holes". She put polish on my skin and cuticle and did not clean it off before putting it under the light. She then cut my finger deeply trying to get the polish off of my skin. After an hour I showed her that they were bumpy, had holes without polish, polish was on my skin, and she cut me. After an hour she said she would fix it and to come back the next day. It is an inconvenience and a waste of money. The employees are unprofessional and messy as well. The only reason one may believe this place is nice would be if they had never been to a good one.

OMG THE BEST NAIL SALON!!! Just moved here from Germany! People on post keep telling me to go here! I went to a several place nothing compare to this salon here! The place is the most cleanest salon that i've been to. The Shellac manicure last forever! Will spread the words to all my friends! Thank You!!!!!!

I appreciate how quickly my services took as well! I clocked in right at an hour and that included some drying time for my nails too. It didn't feel rushed at all either.

Horrible nail salon! If I could give this 0 stars I would! I went in a week and a half ago to get a full set of gel nails and the WHOLE experience was terrible. The employee I had was not friendly at all and said 2 words to me the whole time I was in there and tried to have a conversation so I just gave up talking. The gel nails were awful. I own a hair salon that does not offer gel nails so of course I went elsewhere to get my nails done. My point is, I went to cosmetology school for my diploma and cosmetology covers how to apply all the kinds of nails you can get. so here is my experience.... Firstly, there is no such thing as "power gel". Its called GEL for a reason, because it is suppose to be GEL not powder. Powder is for acrylics. Of course there was no label on the container that even said "powder gel" (which doesn't exist anyway) secondly, your not suppose to use a drill of ANY kind with gels, you are only suppose to buff the surface of your nail with a file then apply gel. Thirdly, your suppose to cure gel under a UV light for 3 minutes on each hand, then repeat. that was not done. Fourthly, they applied a UV top coat (under the nail polish I received) and that was the only time it was cured. With gels, you have a certain color you pick out in the gels, its not suppose to be regular polish. I will also add that the polish is old and watered down with fingernail polish remover. Fifthly, after I got them done, 2 days later my middle fingernail split in half and popped right off, then the 5th day my ring fingernail lifted completely off, and the 8th day my thumbnail chipped and popped off! Cheap, cheap powder was applied to my nails! Lastly, they charged me for a full set of gel nails when I really received cheap acrylic powder on my nails! I have seen this happen in other nail salons too where they call this powder gel and its not and they charge you for gel. again, powder gel does not exist! my overall experience was truly the worst nail salon I have ever been to! "Nails by tammy" in dickson tn is who does REAL gel nails! I have learned my lesson here and will go to dickson from now on! here is a real demonstration of how gel nails really are done....

Just truely amazing, the place is huge and clean... Lashay does good pedicures and eyebrow..Venus nail spa staff are very friendly. I love it

I went here yesterday to get shellac after reading so many "positive" reviews online. Obviously, their employees are writing all the positive reviews online because this is the DIRTIEST nail salon I've ever visited. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the DUST covering every surface in the salon. So disgusting. I was about to walk out when a young man greeted me and and told me to go to station 5, where I was greeted by a very scruffy looking man. As I sat down I looked to my left and saw several Asian people slumped over on the chairs SLEEPING!!! How professional! The nail tech grabbed my hands and his hands were so rough and scratchy I instinctually pulled away. I asked him to see the shellac colors and he pointed to about 12 bottles. I had to get up, go behind another nail tech's station and to look at the colors, which were just the colored wrappers on the bottles. They didn't even have painted nail swatches!!! And they had a VERY limited amount of colors. Another thing to note is that they use OPI gel color, NOT OPI Axxium gel color, which is superior. Check out OPI's site for info on this. After looking at the "colors" (laughable), I asked how much it would be, and my tech could not communicate with me. Literally could not understand me. At that point I thanked him (which I'm sure he again didn't understand), and walked out. As I was walking out, I noticed a trash can overflowing with trash by the front counter. This place could not be more DISGUSTING!!! Please read the negative reviews, as I am sure these are only the true reviews of this salon not planted by their employees. It's really, really dirty. Stay away!

There are a few reasons why I love Venus Nails Spa, 1. they are probably the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. 2. you don't need to make an appointment. 3. they are reasonable price-wise!!! I just moved here from New York, After trying numerous nail salons in the area (about 8) and not being particularly pleased with any of them. The only reason I kept going back is because of how clean, beautiful the salon and knowlegable stff! ;)

I am actually sitting in a chair right now and I am not pleased. Staff seems a little incompetent. I asked my nail technician a question and she answered with an attitude. I was really unimpressed. Maybe i my technician....really not worth the price.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!! Its very relaxing and looks so nice. The pedicures are so many level and priced just right and I had one of the best times there. I have never had a bad experience at this nail salon and will continue to go!!! Venus Rocks!!!

Venus Nails Spa is the best Nail Salon and that no surprise that they voted best of Clarksville 2011. I have been going there for over 3 years. Pam normally does my nails. The mani-pedis are amazing.The list of choices goes on forever and NEW pedi / mani keep you longing for what the next one will be just like waiting for a new movie to release. When I am there, I feel like I am being pampered in a luxury Greek palace. The manager and the staff go out of their way to make you feel special. Venus Nails Spa is the place to go!!!! Hope Venus will continues to win best of Clarksville for many years to come! :D

Wonderful Nail Salon!!! I've been to way too many salons in the area nothing compare to this one. The staff was very organized and knowlegeable on both their products and services...the only thing that I have to admit they offered many many type of services. Therefore, just to be sure what you're getting look at the price and always ask and you will be VERY VERY SATISFIED!!! Highly recomended salon!!!!

Highly Recommended! I went and got myself a set of Gel Nails and the Nail tech was so knowledgeable about his products and service. I was very comfortable, well explained. The Nails look really good but I have to admit the price was a little higher. Anyway, I'm very happy and willing to pay for it! :D

Awesome salon! I just moved here and new to the area, I have heard so much about Venus in the area, so my friend and I decided to go for a test drive. We both were so impressed the products and services that they offered and used. The staff are professional and polite. We think we have found a new salon to stay! Thank you Venus!

I love this salon. I get my nails done here and I can always count on excellent service from the staff at Venus . This salon have so much variety of manicures / pedicures products which are my favorite! The cost is a little high, but it would be a great gift for someone special!

I come here very often, at least twice a month for the last 12 years, and I have never once had a bad experience. The staff is very, very polite and tedious about their both their manicures and pedicures, and they apply gel very knowledgeably and with meticulous attention. Their prices are very competitive, and the wait is never long, if at all. The atmosphere is impeccably clean, relaxing. I'm kinda sad that my husband will be station in TX. I will have to try real hard to find another nail salon in Ft. hood. :(

This salon was terrible. I cannot believe anyone would recommend. Stay away,,, not just the worst in Clarksville but the worst I've seen in my 50+ years of pampering. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
