The Clarksville Area YMCA, a community-based organization, is a part of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. The organization provides yoga, swimming and Bible study classes for seniors and older adults. It also organizes SilverSneakers classes and Free MicroFit health screenings. The Clarksville Area YMCA s children and youth programs include sign language, Spanish, gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, martial arts, music, swimming, and arts and crafts classes. The organization s child care program serves children up to the age of six years. Located in Clarksville, Tenn., its teen center features an indoor rock climbing wall, game tables, television and lounge area. The Clarksville Area YMCA s We Build People Campaign provides funds for youth development and membership assistance.

This is generally speaking a good place to workout. I have concerns that people are allowed to sweat in the steam rooms and then come to the therapy pool to spash the sweat off so they can return to the steam room. Also the therapy pool is allowed to be a kiddle pool which is a barrier for those with physical limitations to have to swim around these children and their parent whom have no regard for the person with physical limitations.
