Founded in 1968, Parkwood Elementary is a part of the Greater Clark County Schools system. The school serves more than 550 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Its facilities include a cafeteria, library, gymnasium and classrooms. Parkwood Elementary offers a range of after-school clubs and extracurricular activities. The school s academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as math, language arts, social studies, physical education, science, instrumental and vocal music, drama, art, computer literacy and vocational arts. Its staff includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists. Parkwood Elementary is located in Clarksville, Ind.
