Founded in 1920, Western Christian Schools is a district that operates elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer before- and after-school care programs. Its schools provide classes in music, arts and crafts, computer science and physical education. Each school within the district offers a variety of academic programs in English, language arts, science, social studies and mathematics. The district s schools athletic activities include football, basketball, soccer, cross-country, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, and track and field. Its schools conduct educational field trips. Western Christian Schools is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
