I had an excellent experience with PODS. I actually looked into this company after trying to hire a totally different long-distance moving company--whose name I am not allowed to mention, since after having a bad experience with two representatives and then reading their obviously fake reviews on yellowpages.com, I had to sign something saying I would not disparage them in any way just in order to cancel their services!--and settled on having the smallest, cutest POD container delivered to move one room's worth of my stuff from Wisconsin to Oregon. The first PODS representative I spoke to was extremely kind and honest, and after telling him what had happened with the previous moving company I'd paid a deposit to and had to cancel, he actually suggested I search for a coupon and waited on the phone while I found one and told him the coupon code (which he applied to my order). The container was delivered and picked up on time each time, and the delivery windows were relatively early in the day at reasonable times. The drivers that I spoke to were friendly and courteous, and when I unpacked the POD container, all of my stuff was exactly where I'd put it, and absolutely nothing was broken or missing. I had no problems whatsoever. The container was sturdy and in great shape, and was obviously handled carefully. Everyone I spoke to at PODS was kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. As far as my experience goes, I have no complaints. I would--and have--recommended this company to anyone moving long distance who doesn't mind packing the container themselves.
