Founded in 1969, Security Chain Co. (SSC) is a wholesaler of cable and link-style traction products. Based in Clackamas, Ore., the firm offers a wide range of products, including bulk chains and accessories for industrial/transport applications, cargo/load control products and lifting equipment. Some of its patented products for the transportation industry include Super Z6 and Super Z8 low clearance cable chains, SmartBar, SecureBar, ValueBar, CurtainBar, QuikBinder Plus and SmartCrank. Security Chain Co., a division of Burns Bros. Inc. (BBI), serves customers in South America, New Zealand, Japan, Europe and the Middle East.
