I had some intricate jewelry pieces with many stones and supporting white gold. Matching set-earrings, bracelet,ring, neclace. They could have just bought it for the gold which is their real interest, except diamonds which they buy. But told me to take it to a jeweler or sell on ebay so I would get more money. The girl didn't say much at all . Just did the testing and transaction without more than 10 words. If it weren't for the best quote I might not have finished the sell. When dealing with the public you should expect to greet them and involve yourself in conversation like explaining what you are doing as you go along.
