The first time we used Cato was 4 years ago for ants, then we used them again the following year for ants, and the following year for bees.
Talking to these guys over the phone is actually easy, and they come out fast! When I talked about pricing over the phone, I WASNT given a trick price and then they come out and gouge you. Pricing is very competitive and fair and upfront, which is usually unheard of.
On to the bigger item, they're very knowledgeable and spend time chatting you up about how to avoid ants/bees or whatever you're having an issue with. They make logical sense when talking about the subject and I have enjoyed dealing with them (even though I wish I didn't have to).
I will continue to use them when we have issues with pests. (wish my cats would take care of the ant problem, but that's wishful thinking!)
I spoke with Luke on the phone and he was very professional and nice. He calmed us down right away when he said he will have his technician at our place within the hour. We had these giant bees in the house and my wife and 6 year old little girl were terrified. Turns out we had a European Hornet problem from what the expert tech told us. He sprayed around the house and on the roof at all the possible entry spots and he also made us feel more comfortable by talking to us. These guys are great. Thank you so much!
What a nice change to find a pest control company where I could actually talk with the owner. I'm a single mom, I had ants everywhere. Tom (the owner) knew so much and made me feel very comfortable. They got rid of the ants and it cost less than a bigger company quoted. I'm very pleased. I signed up with a maintenance plan so now I don't have to worry about ants or mice or any other pests anymore.
these guys are great. i've used them three times now, and the service is always prompt, often same day, and they stand behind their work. i'd recommend them to everyone i know.
Great Service! Fast response to our call. We had problems with carpenter bees. They came and sprayed the next day. The bees were gone within 4 days, just as we were told. Will use them again if we have problems. Highly recommend Cato!
I was planning on having a party on the 4th of July and when we were setting up tables my husband found a huge wasps nest under the deck. I called a lot of exterminators and Cato Pest Control was the only one who could come right away. They got rid of the wasps so we could go ahead with the party. I'll call them again.
These guys were true professionals. When I called the owner answered and a technician was sent out an hour later, now that is prompt service. One month has gone by and not a sign of ants. I definitely would use this company again .

We had a large basketball sized hornets nest in our Holly tree near our back deck. As you could well imagine we were a little freaked out, it was very active and my wife is allergic to bees and wasps. When we called, someone actually answered and sent the owner out within the hour. The owner of the company, Tom, is a true professional. He explained the service in an easy to understand way and most importantly got rid of the hornets and their nest. I would highly recommend this company !
We had a really bad bat problem in our attic. We got a couple of estimates before Tom ( the owner of the company) and his son came out. They were much more knowledgeable than the other two company's and did an extensive inspection of the attic and roof. There pricing was very competitive so we hired them to do the work. Within one week they had humanely removed all the bats from the attic, removed the droppings and sealed all the areas where the bats entered the attic. We will be using this company for all our pest control needs !
