Arrogant and does his own thing with your hair, despite your requests.
I went to lloyd 4 times in 4 months. I am a 28 year old male and my hair is beginning to thin and you can even see my scalp in some places. I see a hair specialist for it. The first time I went to Lloyd, he wanted to use thinning shears. I immediately made myself clear for him not to use thinning shears on my hair... ever. He said he understood. The following two times I reminded him not to use the. The fourth and final time I went, When he asked how I wanted it cut "I was trying to show him how my hair on the right side of my head and my right hairline has receded much quicker than the left, and there were a few spots there where my scalp is exposed. . I asked him to leave a few strands on the right side longer as to cover the balding area up. Basically I asked him to leave a little extra hair on the bad side of my head so it would look like my good side. He immediately interrupted me and said "You worry way too much about that, now if an arm or a leg fell off that would be something to worry about". Not words you want to hear from the person you pay to cut your hair right before they cut it. Understand that this was him interrupting me when I was trying to answer his question "How do you want you hair cut." Instead of leaving it longer(as I requested) he cuts both sides of my hair much shorter and used thinning shears on hair that's barely hanging on. So instead of making my bad side look a little better by leaving hair longer so I could cover up my bald spots he thinned my entire head and then says: "Now it's laying even". He didn't listen to me what so ever, and in fact mocked me when I tried to express the way I'd like my hair cut. Later when I texted him about what he did, especially when using thinning shears when I specifically asked him not to and that because of this I probably wouldn't be going back, he replied "Fine by me". No sort of apology for blatantly disregarding my request that he never use thinning shears, or the fact that he butchured my hair and used thinning shears on an already thinning hairline.

I imagine at one time he was probably a pretty good barber. But now he is old and simply needs to retire. If you want a barber that cares about your hair and doesn't laugh at you for caring about your hair... this isn't the barber for you
