RPC Mechanical serves customers throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. RPC was established in 1944 as a refrigeration and heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractor. In 1997, FirstEnergy Corporation, one of the United States largest investor-owned electric utilities, acquired the company. The company s services include HVAC design, such as engineering, design build and mechanical contracting, construction and piping fabrication; plumbing services, such as backflow containment and water saving solutions; HVAC services that include preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and repair services; facility services, such as janitorial, pest control, lawn care and landscaping and parking lot care; facility automation services that include control systems and energy management systems; and performance contracting services. RPC Mechanical is headquartered in Cincinnati.
