(continued) Children can get a good education from a select few great teachers. Parents are protected though from knowing that their children are put in dangerous situations daily. Administrators are very hands off when it comes time for making sure classrooms are run safely and efficiently. Deaf and hearing staff are constantly in arguments about signing rules. St. Rita puts forth much effort to glorify their school through advertising. On a separate note, there is a suspiciously high rate of related staff and or friends to the principal and authoritative staff.

I am a teacher at St. Rita school for the Deaf in Evendale, Ohio. Each child I have worked with here has wonderfully enriched my life. I am blessed to have found a few like minded compassionate teachers here too. Unfortunately my overall experiences here are not all positive. This school has an extremely high turnover of teachers and many have zero qualifications to teach. Throughout my years I have seen teachers physically and mentally abuse innocent children. I wish I could say that they were isolated cases and were promptly taken care of by the proper authority, but I cannot. Incidents of abuse are happening daily throughout the school. It is so prevalent that it has become the norm and teachers have become numb to it happening in their classrooms. Supervisors are aware of the abusive teachers but continuously excuse the behavior.
