      Dr. Kara Shah is board-certified in General Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, and General Pediatrics. She earned both her medical degree and doctorate in philosophy degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed a residency in General Pediatrics at the Texas Children’s Hospital, a residency in General Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She previously worked as the Director of Pediatric Dermatology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and as the Clinical Director of Pediatric Dermatology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She has served on the medical advisory boards for the Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types, the National Psoriasis Foundation, and the International Society for Pediatric Wound Care and on the Scientific Advisory Council for Naevus Global. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. Shah treats patients of all ages and has been serving patients in the greater Cincinnati area since 2011.
