- CrownsOcclusal, or bite, adjustment is a procedure performed to remove tiny interferences that keep teeth from coming together properly. These interferences can prevent the jaw from closing in its anatomically correct position. Interferences can develop as teeth develop, can occur following an accident, or they can accumulate over time with wear. Dental work such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions can also cause interferences.
- BridgesSeveral individual dental implants can be used to replace multiple missing teeth in adults, even if all teeth are missing. Another option is the incorporation of dental implants into a dental bridge. If you are missing three teeth, for example, Dr. Azzam can create a bridge using three crown units. The middle crown would span the space of your middle missing tooth while the two end units would be anchored in place by posts implanted into your jaw bone. This technique is especially beneficial when compared with the option of a traditional fixed bridge, which requires that your natural teeth be ground down to accommodate the crowns that anchor the bridge.

- DenturesDentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. While dentures take some getting used to, and will never feel exactly the same as one’s natural teeth, today’s dentures are natural looking and more comfortable than ever.
- Dental ImplantsPreserve Facial Shape and Jawbone Integrity. Bone loss in the jaw occurs almost immediately after loosing a tooth. Without the root to stimulate it, the jawbone will eventually dissolve to a point where the cheeks and lips are no longer supported. This can cause an aged, shrunken appearance. Implants preserve bone and help maintain facial integrity.

- Tooth ExtractionsWisdom teeth are molars which tend to erupt in the late teens to early twenties. While wisdom teeth may grow in straight and without incident for many, some patients will require wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Al-Zubi performs wisdom tooth extractions to relieve you of the pain and overcrowding of impacted wisdom teeth.

- Bone GraftingWhen you visit our office for bone grafting, Dr. Al-Zubi generally uses local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Once the treatment site is numb, an incision is made allowing Dr. Al-Zubi to assess how much bone must be grafted. Dr. Al-Zubi will then make another incision in the gum tissue near the lower front teeth. The bone is removed and the donor site is stitched closed. This bone is then placed in the initial treatment site and secured with titanium screws. Dr. Al-Zubi will close the tissue with sutures.
