Houston Elementary is a part of Northwest Local Schools. Located in Cincinnati, the school serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It imparts reading skills to elementary students through phonics instruction. Additionally, Houston Elementary conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. It operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. Houston Elementary has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists.
