Dishonest "quote" process. They don't tell you how much the entire job will actually cost UNTIL THEY BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD (that way, you can't simply dispute and not pay the bill). They quote you for "one man hour" (which is of no value) but don't give you ANY indication as to how many hours the job will take -- and therefore, no idea as to how much they will charge you -- until the job is done and your credit card is charged. Simply a HORRIBLE and extremely unclear way to do business.



The total job cost me $266, to clean ONE floor of my house. IF I had known it would cost that much, I never would have hired this company. But I did NOT know it would cost that much until they charged my credit card.



When I complained to the Better Business Bureau, the owner's daughter posted a nasty note on the FB page of my wife's employer. Seriously. The most pathetic and unprofessional thing I have ever seen a company do in response to a legitimate complaint. Stay away from this horrible company.



Of note, I have since hired The Cleaning Authority. Their quote process is transparent (unlike House Calls), the cleaning job was just as good, and it was HALF the price.

They are quite simply, the best. I appreciate their concern for getting the job done right every single time without exception.

We have used House Calls for about two years now and are quite satisfied. Their cleaning crew consistently arrive on time, gets through it efficiently and, on those rare occasions when working from home, are pleasant and courteous people. We think that their rates were competitive but we haven't checked since we started using them.

Good service - team always respectable. Some teams are better than others. Longest I have ever kept a cleaning service. Like because bill monthly to credit card.
