Hickman, Williams & Company has been serving the metal industry since 1890. Richard B. Hickman opened an office in Louisville, Ky. to sell pig iron to the burgeoning metals industry of northern Kentucky and southern Indiana. His modest office consisted of 'two desks, two bicycles and a typewriter.' Hickman, Williams & Company now services metals producers and other related industries with an array of products, including foundry coke, ferroalloys, briquetted alloys, specialty metals and alloys, carbon additives, abrasives, pig iron, fused silica, metal filters, coal and coke products, injection and cored wire systems and many other related materials. Hickman, Williams & Company is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio with regional offices across the United States.
