South Central Elementary is an educational institute that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers a variety of academic, extracurricular and sports programs for students. The school conducts classes in math, social studies, science, computer technology and English. It also provides instruction in art, music and physical education. South Central Elementary s staff includes a nurse, librarian, resource aide, speech pathologist, guidance counselor, bookkeeper, classroom teachers, instructional assistants, custodians, and administrative and support staff members. It organizes sports tournaments in the areas of baseball, soccer, softball, and track and field. South Central Elementary is located in Chuckey, Tenn., and is a part of the Washington County School District, which elementary, middle and high schools.
