      What makes us different? Dr. Becky Mann "Dr. Becky" is a Radford native. She graduated from James Madison University and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Alabama-Birmingham. Becky is a favorite of parents and kids alike. Dr. Becky is one of only 2 optometrists in southwest Virginia certified as a low-vision examiner by Virginia Department of Visually Handicapped. She has special interest in children's vision, specialty contact lenses and sub-normal vision. She is married to Dr. Scott Mann and together they have 3 sons Michael, William and Mark. Dr. Scott Mann is a Lynchburg native, graduate of Lynchburg College and the University of Alabama School of Optometry. An avid sports fan, he is the official team Optometrist for Radford University (with Dr. Becky Mann), the Salem Avalanche Baseball Team, a Houston Astros affiliate, and consults with student-athlete trainers at Roanoke College. He is also a guest lecturer for: Radford University student athletic trainers, Roanoke College student athletic trainers, RU Nurse Practitioners (eye disease), Roanoke School Nurse Association (child's vision) and numerous local civic organizations.

We're proud of that, and the fact that we've helped people in Christiansburg see just a little better than in other parts of the country. Our patients entrust us with their vision.
