Based in Christiansburg, Va., Country Kitchen International is a family dining restaurant chain. It is one of the leaders in full-service family restaurants with locations in over 20 states. The restaurant offers an array of breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and kids menus. Some of its lunch menu items includes kickin' quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, St. Louis barbeque ribs, chicken tenders and fries basket, to name a few. Signature menu items include The Best Pancakes in Town, Skillet Breakfasts and The Big Country Burger.

The food was good, bad service. Had a black headed waitress, bigger.. didnt catch her name, she was rude and didnt know much when me and my family would ask questions, and wasnt clean. I would suggest going else where. The food was good though.

The food was nasty, you get what you pay for. And the waitresses look awful, bunch of hilbillys with ugly teeth. Never again.

Not sure why the change, but they used to have the very BEST burger and fries in the land, but now they have switched from hand pattied burgers to the frozen, pre-formed burgers. Not appealing at all. The buffet is always good, so no more burgers for me. Such a shame.

I went with my family and other relatives we were visiting in the area and we had the lunch buffet. The food was well prepared and the service was good -- the servers were friendly and refilled our drinks and checked on our table at reasonable intervals. I would say the buffet food was a little above average -- I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the restaurant also had available whole pies for sell. We got a butterscotch pie and it was absolutely delicious.
