      I was going to gas yesterday, Friday 5-13-11, using my visa card but was not allowed the option of a debit card purchase, only a credit card purchase. I cancelled the 1st transaction and tried again thinking I may have missed the option to choose debit. I was right the 1st time so I also cancelled the 2nd transaction. Even though I cancelled both I still have two $51 pending charges on my card. I know this will soon be cleared and the $102 will be available for me to use but for now I'm out $102 which is a HUGE inconvenience. Anytime you use a credit card to buy gas for some reason they add an extra amount up to $80+ to what you actually spend on gas. This is why I cancelled both transactions and will only use a debit card. Apparently cancelling them didn't make a difference which is baffling because to me CANCELLED MEANS CANCELLED!!! If you are not rich like me and need your money available I suggest if you buy gas at this Maverick to go inside to pay for your gas using a debit card.
