Pleasant Valley High School is a public school serving the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,900 students and is a part of the Chico Unified School District. It offers classes in various subjects, including business and industrial technology, English, fine arts, foreign language, performing arts, health, home economics, mathematics, physical education, science and social science. The school has athletic teams for various sports, such as cross country, basketball, baseball, field hockey, golf, football, skiing and snowboarding, soccer, wrestling, softball, tennis, swimming, track and volleyball. Pleasant Valley High School is located in Chico, Calif. It also provides special education programs to students with average or above average abilities, and who are deaf or hard of hearing. Its counselors help students with academic planning, graduation requirements and career exploration.
