Chapman Elementary School is part of the Chico Unified School District. The school serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school provides an array of special programs, such as accelerated reading, gifted and talented, counseling and classroom guidance, speech therapy and special education. The school s psychologist works directly with the faculty, students and the parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students. The elementary school has a library that has a collection of picture books, easy fiction and beginning chapter books, and fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as provides various databases, reference materials, magazines and newspapers. Chapman Elementary School is based in Chico, Calif.
