My family and friends have eaten at Basque Norte for over 20 years, at both locations. Originally in Paradise, then when they moved to Chico.Meals are EXCELLENT, steaks; the most tender and flavorful in town. Course servings a plentiful and each so tasty. Service is top notch at all times. Over the years I recall some of the San Francisco 49er football players enjoying meals there as well.Expect to pay a bit more, that's because it is worth it.Thank you,Dave Trovato

If you want the very best steak in town, this is definitely the place to go. Long established and family owned and operated, it's amazing that it's possible to get a table without a reservation. At Basque Norte, you will enjoy the friendly and appreciative staff and will certainly not go away hungry. Great value!
