      There are probably not enough kind words or gratitude that I could give this company! We chose A-1 Stoves for a new wood burning stove and complete installation. We knew NOTHING about wood stoves or the install process. Their entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. From the honest opinion on what kind of stove we needed, to the walk through and the install, they did not disappoint. We have a three story house and the overall install of the chimney was not easy. They made us feel safe and secure in the hands of professionals! They even offered in house financing; this was a life saver for us! We got to have the benefits of the wood stove and use the money that would have gone to purchase propane to pay off the stove and install, in one winter the stove had paid for itself. I would HIGHLY recommend A-1 Stoves!

      Our business started in 1988 as a chimney sweep service in Grass Valley, CA, founded and operated by Hubert and his wife Wilma.Later we added a retail store front and an internet sales website selling fireplaces, stoves, parts and accessories all over North America.In 2011 we decided to expand into Chico, when we found out that there was a need for a dedicated and service oriented hearth products store offering a large range of high quality fireplace products.
