The Bruss Company is a manufacturer of portion-controlled steaks and chops. It operates a 52,000-square-foot facility in Chicago that is USDA inspected and certified. Bruss procures beef from selected packing plants and ages and portions steaks to its customers specifications. It also produces a variety of portion-controlled pork, lamb, and veal, in addition to ground-beef products. The company was founded in 1937 and is headquartered in Chicago. Bruss operates a business gift division to help individuals and companies of all sizes honor important clients, colleagues, employees, friends and relatives with gourmet gifts. The company has been a subsidiary of the Tyson Foods Company since 2001.
