The Polish National Alliance features sports and youth programs, social lodges, holiday parties, spelling bees, college scholarships, mortgage loans and orphan benefits. The organization publishes the Zgoda, operates banks and broadcasts radio shows. The alliance also sponsors dance and choral groups. It is the largest of all ethnically based fraternal insurance benefit societies in the country. The Polish National Alliance of the United States of North America was founded in 1880 and maintains its home office in Chicago.
