The Parkside Community Academy is an educational facility that enrolls more than 360 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The academy s curriculum includes reading, math, science, social science, English, computer technology, and performing and fine arts. It operates the Beta Club, as well as provides extracurricular opportunities, including band and chorus. In addition, the Parkside Community Academy offers a range of sports activities, such as basketball, football, golf, tennis and cheerleading. The academy administers the English Language Learners program. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. The Parkside Community Academy organizes parent-teacher conferences. The academy is a part of Chicago Public Schools.
