The company's services include Blanchard rotary grinding, welding, Mattison reciprocating table grinding, bar grinding, steel warehousing, steel plate, flame cutting, saw cutting, stress relieving, shot blasting, painting and more. Based in Chicago, Ill., American Grinding and Machine Company is equipped with more than 22 large surface grinding machines. It manufactures a heavy-duty steel base or table called the Brute Base that is available in six standard shapes, as well as in customized shapes. The company fabricates all types of weldments from small pieces up to 30 tons.
