Founded in 1999 and located in Chicago, Alain Locke Charter Academy is one of the leading charter schools providing educational services to inhabitants throughout the region. The school offers classes in prekindergarten through grade six, and enrolls more than 400 students. Its curriculum offers a wide range of subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, computer science, foreign language, social studies, physical education and health. Alain Locke Charter Academy provides various sports programs, including volleyball, baseball and soccer for both boys and girls. The academy also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as games, painting, construction, modeling, dance, and music. The school houses a fully equipped library and computer lab.
