Dr. Goodman is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, and the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine where he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He received his specialty Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Maryland, and has served as Clinical Associate at the National Institutes of Health and Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University, School of Dentistry. Member of the District of Columbia Dental Society, Southern Maryland Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association, American Dental Association and Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists. In addition, he is a Specialist Advisor and Literature Reviewer to The Seattle Study Club, a national dental education organization, as well as a member of the Washington Study Group, Washington Dental Science Club and Maimonides Study Club.
